Quick As A Wink Theatre Society is holding open auditions for their upcoming October production of Into the Woods, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Book by James Lapine. There are twenty-two roles available; This is not an ensemble play. No experience necessary.  Quick As A Wink prides itself on taking actors of all skill levels, from first timers to experienced actors, and teaching skills required to perform for a live audience.  Our mission includes the education of community members in theatre and performing arts!  

When: Auditions will be held May 11 and 12, 2016.  Please prepare a song (unaccompanied) no longer than 30-45 seconds.  Location to be determined.

What is Expected: All those wishing to audition for a speaking role will be asked to perform a selection from a song, a capella, no longer than 30-45 seconds.  Please do not prepare a monologue.  There will be very little dance in this show; Most choreography will be movement based and will require only a basic understanding of dance.  As this show depends heavily on character development, audition participants will be subject to several character exercises during the audition process.  Plan to be at the rehearsal for the entire scheduled time.
