Policies and Information for Audiences

Quick As A Wink Theatre Conditions of Sale:

  • No cameras or recording equipment allowed in the auditorium.

  • Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the front of house staff during a suitable break in the performance.

  • Management reserves the right to revoke admission and refund the ticket purchase price.

  • The show is subject to change, and no refunds will be given for tickets once purchased.

  • Exchanges are possible for another performance of the same show for a fee of $3.00 per ticket, when seating availability permits.

Refunds:

  • No refunds will be issued for purchased tickets, but tickets can be turned in for a tax-deductible donation.

  • Please double-check your tickets at the time of purchase to make sure they are for the correct date and time.

  • Live theatre is subject to change, and Quick As A Wink Theatre doesn't guarantee that you'll be satisfied with the performance or that it will be free of technical difficulties.

Exchanges:

  • You can exchange your tickets up to 48 hours before the performance for another show of the same production.

  • An exchange fee of $3.00 per ticket applies.

  • Contact the box office directly info@qaaw.ca to exchange your tickets.

Latecomers:

  • Latecomers may be admitted during a suitable break in the performance at the discretion of management.

  • Management reserves the right to refuse admission or alter the performance.

Children:

  • Children over 4 years old are welcome, but tickets must be purchased for all attendees.

  • Minors under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Please supervise your children and keep them seated where they can be easily monitored.

Photography & Cell Phones:

  • No photography or recording of any kind is allowed before, during, or after the performance.

  • Cell phones must be turned off and texting during the performance is not allowed.

  • Quick As A Wink Theatre reserves the right to confiscate and delete any prohibited photos.

Rescheduled Performances:

  • Event dates and lineups are subject to change.

  • Refunds for postponed or canceled events will be announced.

  • Please provide a contact number or email when purchasing tickets to be notified of any changes.

Additional Etiquette Reminders:

  • Please keep noise to a minimum and avoid talking, candy wrappers, and coughing.

  • Do not have your phone out whatsoever during the performance as the light from the screen is distracting.

  • For the comfort of all patrons, please use scented products sparingly or not at all.

  • If you are having an allergic reaction, please speak to an usher about relocating.

A NOTE ABOUT WEATHER:

It is very rare we would cancel a performance. As they say, "The show must go on!"

In the event you are unable to make a performance due to weather, you may email info@quickasawinktheatre.ca to request a ticket exchange for another date. Provided there are seats available at the next show, we will switch your tickets for you free of charge.

Tickets are non-refundable. Since QAAW is a registered charity, you may forfeit your ticket as a donation and we will issue a Charitable Tax Receipt for any purchases over $25.

If we do decide to cancel a show, in order to keep our cast and crew and our audience members safe, tickets from that show are transferable to another performance of the same play. You must email info@quickasawinktheatre.ca in order to exchange your tickets. Tickets will be exchanged provided seats are available at alternate performances. In the case of a cancellation, and only in the case of a cancellation, tickets may be exchanged for the next play in the season if there are no alternate dates in the current play available to you. Tickets will not carry to the next show in the case the performance is not cancelled but an audience member decides to miss the date. Please refer to the refund policy above for such cases.
