ABOUT THE THEATRE
Located in the Eastern end of the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, Canada, we are a non-profit, charitable community theatre group entertaining West Hants and beyond from the greater Windsor area.
OUR OBJECTIVE
Quick As A Wink Theatre Society’s objectives are entirely conducted and achieved by volunteers and non-profit means.
Our objective is:
To educate and increase the public’s understanding and appreciation of the arts by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places, and by providing educational seminars, workshops and hands on experience on topics relating to such performances.
QUICK AS A WINK THEATRE SOCIETY IS COMMITTED TO CREATING A SAFE SPACE FOR PEOPLE OF DIVERSE PERSPECTIVES, RACES, SEXUALITIES, AGES, GENDER IDENTITIES, ABILITIES AND SKILLS TO LEARN AND PERFORM. WE BELIEVE THAT IT IS NOT ONLY THE JOB OF THE THEATRE TO REFLECT BACK WHAT WE SEE IN THE WORLD, BUT WHAT WE WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD. AT QAAW, WE ARE ACTIVELY WORKING ON HOW WE CAN BEST BE AN INCLUSIVE AND REPRESENTATIVE THEATRE IN A RURAL COMMUNITY. KNOW THAT NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, YOU ARE WELCOME HERE

WE ARE A REGISTERED CHARITY
Quick As A Wink has been designated as a “Charitable Organization” by the Canada Revenue Agency. We have been granted this status because of our contribution to the community, providing education in theatre-related skills.
This means that we are able to issue tax receipts for donations given to the theatre society. Your donations support our efforts to provide quality theatre entertainment and education in our rural area and beyond.
