Work with QAAW on Your Next Fundraising Project

Quick As A Wink Theatre Society is proud to offer fundraising opportunities for other community groups. A non-profit society itself, Quick As A Wink and its Board of Directors recognize the ongoing need for project funding in the community. After nearly two decades of 100% volunteer-based operations, Quick As A Wink has successfully built a recognizable brand in the Windsor/West Hants community, and beyond. We wish to use that brand to help the community and those groups within the community who require funding for the development of a project.

For each of QAAW’s four annual productions, we will partner with a local organization with specific project fundraising needs by offering the net income from front of house sales for the preview show, the evening before each production’s opening night. The preview show will be offered to the public as an admission by donation performance linked to the name of the chosen community group.

Quick As A Wink’s mission is to educate the public on performing arts. This program supports that mission by offering a performance as admission by donation, allowing those members of the community who may not otherwise be able to afford general admission tickets, access to local performing arts. Supporting another local group is a side effect of this program, and a bonus.

If you wish to apply on behalf of an upcoming project within your organization, please fill out the form below. Please note: depending on the nature of the project, Quick As A Wink may require more information (for instance, if the project is a construction project, we may require proof that your organization either owns or has written permission for capital improvements on the building in question).

Thank you for your application. We have four performances per year and therefore can choose a maximum of four partner groups per year. Your application will be reviewed by the Communication Department of Quick As A Wink Theatre Society and you will be notified whether or not your project has been selected. Decisions will be based on many factors including, but not limited to, number of other applicants, geographical proximity to Windsor/West Hants, project goals and objectives, other existing affiliations with either QAAW or your organization, timeline and date of funding needs, and alignment of values between QAAW and your organization.

Previous partnering projects include:
