Today’s “Spotlight” is on the kind and wonderful Logan Levesque!
Logan joined QAAW first the first time in 2014, during our first ever Youth Experience Production. She joined us quite suddenly after making a spur-of-the-moment decision. “I first became involved with Quick As A Wink when I saw a poster at my school for auditions for Little Shop of Horrors happening that same night,” she says. “I spontaneously decided to audition. I saw it as a way to put myself out there, and I was second guessing myself all the way to the audition room door. I don't regret it; I made some truly great friendships as the show went on!”
Logan wasn’t sure if she would have a chance to work with Quick As A Wink again after Little Shop, so she is thrilled to be joining us again this fall for Into the Woods! “When I found out I got a role [in Little Shop,] I assumed it would be the last show I would do, but now I'm back again for more!” Logan says. “I can't get enough of the thrill that stage lights bring when they shine on your cheeks. Theatre, to me, has provided an outlet for me to express myself, without actually expressing myself but rather the character I am playing. I look forward to playing Snow White in Into the Woods!”
Though it has been some time since Logan has taken the stage, her love of theatre and its effects on her life have been constant. “[Theatre] has continuously encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone,” she says. “Though the rate of my activities has declined since I was younger, I am always able to easily reminisce about the times that the crowds stood up and clapped for more. Music and the arts will always be dear to my soul.”
Thank you for all your contributions to Quick As A Wink, Logan! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you again and can’t wait to see you return to the QAAW stage this fall!
Stay tuned for more “Spotlights” on the great members of our Quick As A Wink community! New “Spotlights” are posted every Tuesday and Saturday.
