Musical Camp has been whizzing by! I can't believe that we are already half way through our time together!
We ended the week on a high note (which obviously involved food).
As a treat, we had an end of week party that involved lots of sugary treats, and of course, warm fuzzies.
What is warm fuzzies, you ask? It’s a group activity where you sit in a circle and write your name of a piece of paper. Your sheet gets passed around the room, and each person writes a nice comment about you.
It was a great way to end the week, I felt it brought everyone closer together (and to whoever wrote I have a killer jaw, you da best). After frustrations of learning new songs and dances it was a great way to pick up everyone's spirits, and remind them how amazing they are, and how much they are appreciated. Yay for bonding time!
We also did a run through of some of our performances Friday afternoon, which was amazing. I can’t believe how much the girls have progressed within a few days- at the rate they are going, next Friday is sure to be a showstopper.
Until next time, everyone! I challenge you to go share some warm fuzzies with someone special to you!
